Building Circles of Support – Fall 2026 Educational Series

The Manitoba FASD Centre’s Building Circles of Support is an educational series on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). This learning opportunity is for parents, caregivers, family members, and service providers looking to increase their knowledge and enhance their support of children or youth with FASD. Our Fall 2026 series will run every Thursday from 1-3 PM from October 8 – November 26, 2026. All sessions will be held in person at SSCY Centre, 1155 Notre Dame Avenue.  A different topic will be discussed each week. We encourage attendance at all 8 sessions.

Topics often include, but are not limited to:

• What does it mean that my child/youth has FASD?
• How will FASD affect their behaviour, school experience, and social interactions?
• How can I help others understand my child/youth?
• How can I help my child/youth understand their diagnosis?
• How can I help my child/youth understand and develop their strengths?
