Dr. Nat Kendall-Taylor is a Senior Associate and Project Director with the FrameWorks Institute. In this role, he employs social science theory and research methods from anthropology to improve the ability of public policy to positively influence health and social issues. The FrameWorks Institute is a non-profit organization that is well known for its ability to change the general public’s understanding of social issues. The FrameWorks Institute completed a report in 2019 for the LAEO project and its partners (CanFASD Research Network, Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries and Addictions Foundation of Manitoba), which highlights expert and public understanding of FASD in Manitoba and “maps the gaps” between them. Dr. Kendall-Taylor’s keynote presentation focused on these gaps.
